There's a lot to be said for giving even new vinyl a wet clean.
Dust and debris should be visible anyway. Might be worth brushing every side you play.
Also some microfibre cloths will leave more fluffy crap in the groove that you may remove through cleaning, which is annoying and defeats the whole idea.

What's the technical name of the clip-on small plastic triangle some people have on the side of their cars?

I need one after dodgy driver carved a 2m scratch into the paintwork of my van. Focker.

I haven't listened to the whole album yet, but I ordered it on the strength of the title track which is pure brilliance (IMO). So my expectations have already been raised by quite a lot.

Also a very big well done to the Ezra Collective for their Mercury Prize win. Such a bloody good album!

I gave MS Clipchamp a go.
Was pretty happy with it: quick to get the hang of, and simple enough.
Unfortunately using the free version meant that MS can delete your folders willy-nilly it seems. Rather unhappy and not tempted to try another time so was looking at alternatives/upgrades.

What's the best video editor* in 2023 (for someone with some experience of video editors, but who's not a professional creator/designer)?
I need something that costs less than £100 and is easy to use and learn, for fairly basic enterprise use. We're not talking UHD super-slow-mo stuff here.

Lo to mid-range most of them. Nothing too advanced.
The best one I had (till my current one) was the Samsung S9. Battery slowly giving up the ghost after 2 years.
