Hey Lads
I thought I would start a thread to document the current builds and rebuilds I have going on instead of cloging up the CP thread with all my shit.
Got my Eric Hendren frame yesterday and cleaned and built it up.... Very happy with this frame as it was built in my home town on the year of my birth out of Columbus SL with Shimano dropouts and some really tight geo.
Pic of it when I purchased it. and the parts to go on it.

Wheelset is Zues 32/40H laced to Araya Hard annoed rims, Campy pista crankset, HS, BB, Seat post. Butchered Brooks B17. It will have a milled SR stem and Aussie made Track bars
Unpacked the frame cleaned, rust converted then Built.... got to fit the Campy headset and Awaiting different stem and a lock ring to arrive and i'm rocking... Super tight frame with really nice details made out of Columbus SL but with Shimano drop outs....
Super happy with it....

Don't think you can build a rat. A rat becomes what it is over abuse and constant part replacements to keep it running despite failures. Look at sharky's bike, the ultimate rat for the reference. All these parts are becoming rattier and tattier because the owner looks at its purpose only, not the aesthetics. Most of the parts were expensive once, but rusted and got scratched and paint flaked off and shit. And that's what defines a rat.
And if you can't be bothered to look back for his bike, just google it. It's that famous.I'm with ya here.... I think the main thing is it needs to be well used and this frame fits the bill as it's been used by a track club for the last 20 years and will continue to be ridden alot

Hey Scorch
This is one similar that I will be building up.
It was built for a Famous Aussie track racer from my home town Kendrick Tucker for the 1979 World Champs It's a 27.0 seat post but only goes in a small distance. Take it to a frame builder to ream it.
