Yes and unfortunately not in a good way.
Put some posters up on Friday night and had a call from a neighbour in an adjacent road Saturday morning.
She was very distraught said she saw the cat get killed by a speeding car on Wednesday on the way to work. Car didn't even stop. She was kind and caring enough to pick the cat up, he died straight away so some small mercy. She took it home and waited for the vet to come and take it off her. I rang the vet on Saturday and it is our cat.
The sad thing is it is a 20mph road and she said the car was going at least 40. She has started a petition to get more traffic calming measure in place as this particular road has seen some nasty accident including kids getting hit over the years.
Cunt didn't even stop thats just sad really.Kids keep asking for him. I told the he has gone to live with his friends in the park :(
Petition here if anyone would be good enough to sign it

Casey Kasem died a week ago. Somehow, I missed the news. I hope you didn't. Hard to think of a better example of a fun, cultured, famous vegan. Some of us are old enough for that to be dismaying news.
Saw this news, though had never heard of him before (or watched Scooby-Doo for that matter).
I like the aphorism he signed-off his radio shows with: "Keep your feet on the ground and keep reaching for the stars."

I'm considering getting some bib shorts made by Milltag with 'Cyclists - Stay classy' on the bum (in the style of the TfL sticker ofc), if hippy doesn't mind us swiping his slogan. Anyone keen? Milltag''ve said they'll do it if we have 10 people in, up to 3 so far...
Ha! I've been wanting to ask Ed Milltag to do something very similar for ages...maybe you should start a thread Rosie?

I would wear a sign on my back saying "If you can read this, you're WAY too close" and/or "Don't even think about going around me - that includes you Mr undertaking cyclist." Not really a fan of confrontation though or providing distractions.
I have often wondered whether those widely used 'stay back' stickers are:
a - at all helpful,
b - make drivers more complacent/eschewing of their responsibility, and/or
c - the best possible message anyway.I don't like being told what to do at the best of times, especially not by road users I think should be banned from driving in central London before yet more cyclists die under their wheels.
Really, I would advise cyclists to avoid passing the inside of any vehicle, big or small, junction or not, but as we all know, the way our roads are laid out means that we are usually encouraged to filter through or stop in the most dangerous places.
That's a bit shitty.
Does bully cat get very aggressive with yours?
