And yet you missed the Hill Climb season by a couple of weeks. Oh well, there's always next year, although you'll want some deeper, heavier but more aero rims until late September if going fast is the plan.
As hard as it might be to believe I enjoy riding a light bike. I also enjoy the whole process of working out how I can save grams, be it through tuning parts or buying components from companies that most cyclists haven't heard of.
I'm sure I could do all the riding I currently do on a basic Boardman but I chose this and it puts a smile on my face. Almost every bike posted in this thread has been customised in some way so I'm sure most people can understand the desire to make their bike unique, I've just focused on weight slightly more than others.
It's not everyones cup of tea and we've heard a few times that you would do things differently but it works for me.
that giant is the boss!
Thanks.

Treated the Giant to a second set of wheels. I took the leap into the murky world of tubular tyres.
I tried to keep it on the budget side of things and went with Dati hubs to Planet X 20mm rims with DT Aerolite spokes. Then covered them with Vittoria Corsa SC 23mm tubs.
I've clocked up 101 miles this weekend on them and have been impressed by the supple ride the tubs provide.
In this set up the overall weight has dropped to 5.675kgs (12.51lbs).

Their website says they use Ti-6Q2.
Considering the price difference between most pedals and their ti axled versions the cost is quite minimal. They set me back a little over £40 including shipping and were very easy to install.@Dammit
I used the cages yesterday with a Tune 750ml conical bottle and it wasn't much fun, they were too tight and didn't want to release the bottle. But today I went with the Tacx Source bottles Piotr provided with them and they work perfectly. -
6kgs is ridiculous... what do you weigh!?
I weigh 59kgs, so it's probably easier to remove weight from the bike than myself.
thats saddle looks like it has a comfort rating of 0
It's quite possibly the most comfortable saddle I've owned. I've only put 55 miles into it and need to make a few tweeks to my position but I'm really happy with it.
I've found that with a good set of bibs and a correctly positioned saddle that unpadded saddles don't feel much different than their padded counterparts. Even without padding I don't find it too bad, I stuck the SLR C64 that was on there previously onto my fixed gear and have occasionally ventured out in jeans without discomfort (though I wouldn't be going out for a few hours without padding). -

This needs to be in here.
maybe should put this in the beater/rat-thread but I think it has a place here too:

The bars were scavanged from a thrown away bike, so I have no idea what they are. They're just some steel risers with a nice amount of backsweep. The tyres are 32c Kenda Coasters, they came on my mates Plug and he didn't want them so I thought I would give them a go. I don't have high hopes for them but I'm a sucker for gumwalls.
I don't think there's a fool proof way to prevent rust. The frame was clearcoated but it didn't take long for it to sneak in. I quite like the uneven rusty finish, it gives it a bit of character.
