That's cool HHHH,
@Tel, that was my original motive, though I hadn't the tools or time to do it myself, I took it into a mechanic who suggested keeping the part as there was nothing wrong with it and it would cost to have it removed.
my thanks to everyone for supplying the know,
if around £50 is what it's worth then I'm open to offers around that price. One finds something mysterious in their shed and assumes it's worth more than it is because it looks pretty. -
I appreciate the feed back. I'm going to respond to HHHH's PM. I thought that with the chain-set being included with the frame that £80 was fair? If this is still considered unacceptable then I'll lower the price, I really don't want to con anyone through my own naivete of how much things are worth.

Yo,
In my shed there's been the discovery of a treasure. What we have here is a Peugeot ANC-Halfords frame, ANC-Halfords being a pro British team riding in the 1980's, left in shed of our home by the previous owners. I have dismantled all of the non working parts, which I believe were all Campognolo and here is what remains.

(for more images please see http://s1136.photobucket.com/albums/n494/anchalfords/)
The seat tube is 52cm C-T and the top tube is 54cm C-T.
The seat post will also be included and I'll post pictures when I've cleaned it up.
The chain-set and bottom bracket are fully operational and good as approved by Liam, a very nice mechanic in my local Chiswick store. I imagine this is also a Campognolo part, please correct me if I am wrong.
I've cleaned it up as best as I can and there are areas of slight rusting so could do with a little touch up paint wise perhaps. It's in a delicate slight white/silver. I haven't the money to build it up myself as I've recently bought a bike from here, and the frame doesn't quite speak to my heart though it is a pretty thing.
I apologise for the poor quality of the photos, if you would like me to add any more then please don't hesitate to ask.
I would be happy to let it go for £80.
Latest price of £50 -

Good day,
I am selling this Tiger Town and Country bicycle, it belongs to my mother and she said that if I cleaned it up and sold it for her, she would let me have some money for some sweets. It was purchased new three years ago from a bicycle store on the Chiswick High Road, West London. My mother found that it was too heavy for her, and sub-sequentially it has lived in the shed ever since that time. I've taken her out (the bike) and cleaned her up as best as I could, there are slight rust markings along the handle bars and minor wearing on the frame but all of the mechanics are running nicely. The transitions through the gears are gentle and the brakes are nice and tight. It is missing a basket though one can be fixed on with the metal attachment below the handlebars. The pedals are strong and I can throw in a friendly bell with it.
She was purchased for £200 and we would like £100 for her, aside from two fixed punctures in the back inner tube everything is a-okay. If you would like me to replace the back inner tube for you I can though for the cost of a new one, which will be around another £6.
Viewing and collection from Chiswick, West London close to Hammersmith and Shephards Bush.

Picked this up from Rik Van Looy today, he's a super dude and the bike is really gorgeous.
May put her back up on here for selling in case I feel I cannot adjust to the fixie lifestyle, by all means if anyone else is interested in her, say so.
Great meeting you James hope you have a good time in France.

Thanks dude, never around there, you know how West Londoner's are.
Can't quite imagine that scenario though. In the eventuality that I did see my beloved Koga being sold in a market, I wouldn't know what my reaction would be. Would I want to cause a scene? Is saying, "yeah, man, where did you get that bike, because, that's my bike" enough? Sadly, there's a horrible irony of hitting someone with a pipe and then stealing your own bike back in public, people wouldn't understand.
Do any of you get your bicycles LAHZOR TAGGED by da po po (police)? I think things would be rectified easily if you found a wandering officer and told him the situation and said the proof is on the LAHZOR TAG. Then again I don't want my bike registered to THE SYSTEM MAN, could be a move though.

Yo everyone,
http://i768.photobucket.com/albums/xx322/brabande/DSC02930.jpg
Had this one locked up outside of Pizza Express, Kensington Olympia last week. Just had a D-Lock running through frame and back wheel. It was my best friend's birthday, and on locking it two friends who now live in Denmark, whom I hadn't seen in ages surprised me with a nice greeting. Group hugs, things were so nice you know? There were many of us, and at least six all with nice bikes but I hadn't put the Koga with theirs. On everyone going to mass unlock, I turned around like "yeah okay let me just go and get mine!" and boom, impact to the heart, loss of colour, and the loud/quiet voice in my head saying, "my bike isn't there". Told everyone and tried not to lower the vibes, got lots of hugs, really really loved Koga. Couldn't really enjoy the rest of the evening and felt spaced out. Walking down towards High St Ken with Ipod loud and fist clenched ready to put a door key through the guy's face (thinking lower cheek up into the eye, best move? Maybe under the chin and up?), staring hard at every frame that went past me. Weird feelings of accepting what had happened, learning about new locks and practising non violent thoughts, and of course the overwhelming unfairness of things just not making sense.
Still, have had the delight of finding and getting a new bicycle, but, out of respect to Koga I'm adding his name to the list with all you poor people who just want to ride free.
