Any suggestions for decent wellies? I've had some cheap decathlon ones for a couple of years and they're starting to leak. I don't want to spend a million quid but would rather get more than a couple of years out of the next set.
Disclaimer - I'm glued to a laptop for work these days so the most abuse they'll get is walking the dog around some quite muddy south London parks. -

Green and Black Cross might be able to help. They're an organisation that runs specifically to help people with legal issues as a result of protest and other direct action. They should be able to give advice and point you in the direction of a lawyer with experience of similar cases. Definitely don't plead guilty until you've had legal advice!

Handlebar muffs are decent if you don't have to keep taking your hands in and out of them. I might even have some you can have for free to try out.
I switched to Sealskinz lobster gloves though. I used to ride a cargo bike for a living and found that having to keep taking my hands in and out of the muffs to mess about at each stop meant I couldn't really stay warm.
I have Raynauds so crap circulation as well. -
Noted! I think we have pretty similar tastes so I'll definitely add it to the list. Not clever but fun is perfect for midweek, brain off time.
Tonight's viewing was Sideways by Alexander Payne. I remember watching it not long after it came out with my parents and was definitely too young to enjoy it then. Much better on a second watch 10ish years later. Paul Giamatti is great in it. The Holdovers by the same director is even better though.

A mate's mum needs a new front derailleur. The current one is a Sora fd-3304 for a triple. What will work as a replacement? Will any Shimano road triple fd of a similar vintage do the job? Even better, does anyone have a dead cheap replacement they'd part with in decent nick that they'd be willing to post to Leeds?

Crumpet (aged 4 and a bit), still gets in funny moods when she's overly tired. One of the best things we've trained into her is "bed". Really handy when she's tired and grumpy because she'll usually go to bed and fall asleep but also handy when she's begging or otherwise being naughty/annoying because it's a nice reset.
Good luck with it, I'm sure it's just a phase. Puppies are wild beasts.
