I thought I was finally going to finish converting the Bianchi I got my girlfriend for her birthday into a fixed gear yesterday, all I had to do was reattach the rear wheel, as I tighten it up the skewer through the hub snaps. I must have over tightened it, now I've got to wait for a new one to arrive and it's a crappy £8 a pair jobby as opposed to the lovely campagnolo original. At least now it won't be quick release.

Fixed with front brake, I barely use the brake but it definitely helps me stop much much quicker so it's reassuring to have it if I need it. I did have a back brake attached as well but as far as I could tell it made more or less no difference so I ditched it.

I love the colour of the frame of the path racer, it looks really nice.

I'll come and watch!

I think I'll leave the stem, for some reason I didn't think to read the information you'd given about the size of the bar clamp, sorry!

I bought a bew fuji track classic a couple of months ago and since then I've been trying and failing to get some of the stickers off of the frame, like the one that shows the size and the 'made in taiwan' ones. Some of them came off ok, but some of them won't and look gash. Any tips?
