Are there any decent office chairs that aren't absolutely massive? I've got a really crappy one that I got for free from a neighbour. I find my back and neck are quite uncomfortable after a full day on that bad boy when I WFH.
I want something that'll tuck under a table and not take up half of the living room when it's not in use. The cheaper the better! -
Yeah that seems like a bonus. I have TRP Spyres on my gravel bike which work pretty well when they're set up correctly but do need pretty regular maintenance to adjust for wear. The cheapo Deore hydraulic brake I have on my other bike is more powerful (flat bar rather than drops though) and really is fit and forget. Having said that, if anything goes go wrong I'm much more confident messing about with cable brakes than the hydro one.

On a related note: cunts who force their way on to a busy train whilst people are still trying to get off. I had the misfortune of getting the Jubilee line yesterday, had to physically move some dickhead's massive suitcases out of the way as they tried to cram in to a space they clearly weren't going to fit in as I was trying to get off the train.
To be fair, it was at Canning Town so I understand the urgency of wanting to leave. It's even worse if you're trying to get off at Stratford. End of the line so a full train's worth of people trying to leave whilst a full train's worth of people stand directly in front of the doors and try and force their way on. I really need to buy a cargo bike so that I can avoid getting public transport when I have stuff with me.

Mostly riding off road but have commuted it on it a few times which is on road. I still get the discomfort there as well.
I think the problem is I've never measured any sort of bike fit. My old road bike was ridiculously comfy so I should have measured that and used it as a starting point.Buy a Lauf

No, I would say that's probably all changed at least slightly, except for crank length The geometry of the gravel bike is a bit slacker than the road bike so I'm probably in quite a different position overall. I have to admit I've not done any sort of measuring though.
What's the first thing to try to counter the fall forwards? I've been messing about with saddle height which doesn't seem to have made much difference. -

Sorry to hear about your dad's condition! Hopefully he'll be able to keep his independence but if he does find he's struggling to cycle on his own, Bikeworks offer all ability clubs and cycle taxi services in a few different places in London. The cycle taxi would get him out and about with a bit of company and someone else piloting whilst he pedals. The all ability clubs have loads of adapted cycles and a bit of supervision/support.

The TfL gods are smiling on me today. I was planning on getting the overground in to the office because I've got band practice straight after work and need some heavy drum stuff. All trains cancelled so my commute involved me walking to the station, realising I wasn't going anywhere and walking home. Rather than walking to the station, spending an hour stuck in someone's armpit on an overcrowded train and turning up to the office in a bad mood. I also got home to find my work laptop sat on the dining room table so wouldn't have been the most productive day in the office anyway.

Where's good for dirt cheap bar tape? I need about 10 rolls. Colour/design/durability etc not important. It's for teaching people how to wrap bars (I won't be doing the teaching which anyone who's seen the state of my bars will be pleased to hear) so needs to behave like bog standard bar tape when wrapping.

I've used bolt cutters in the past, tidied up with a file. Probably not as easy or neat as a dremel but thought it was worth mentioning in case you have some already. Top tip when trimming stays though, attach a peg to the end that's getting lopped off. They have a habit of going flying and you probably don't want to take one to the eye or spend ages trying to track one down.

I moved the cockpit from my road bike to this so the same bars and same hood position in relation to the bars. The bars/hoods probably aren't at the exact same angle as on the road bike though.
I'm happy with the tyre pressure, around 35psi on 44c tyres, going from 40ish psi on 32c tyres. I'm pretty confident it's positioning rather than lack of squish that's the culprit!
Why don't you just marry a hot glue gun?
