A race a race, fixed gear and singlespeed only. Meet on broad street at 1830 hrs on april the 27th, this will be a criterium format race so should be fairly heated racing and pretty fun to watch even if you dont fancy racing. The more the merrier so bring your friends, if people want to ride gears they can but there wont be any prizes gor geared racers.

Its primaloft isn't it? Its almost as warm and almost as packable in my experience. You have to be careful though because not all primaloft jackets are made equal, like down its all about fill power they can range from 60g to 200g ratings so like down the bigger the number the warmer it'll be but obviously bigger and heavier.

Down is definitely the way to go in terms of packability, I'm just paranoid about getting it wet and it then becoming useless. There is a new level of sorcery on the way soon though HYDROPHOBIC DOWN!

Camping seems to be the plan and I might take gears or ss depends where we're heading too.

Also Im trying to flog a galvanised 54cm ish ctc plug frameset with sugino rd2 cranks, fsa headset and charge stem. Asking £100 or thereabouts, trades; down tube shift 105 or crane gruppo?

I was doing a cx sportive in woodcote today while wearing one of the lfgss jerseys, while passing a group of fellow mountainbikists (i wasn't fixed or singlespeed shameful I know) someone shouted "do a skid!" at me! Ididn't realise what he'd said until I was past them, If you're on here Im sorry I didn't do a skid I had a bit of a race head on and it didn't quite compute until it was too late.
