Well someone else mentioned that too, but it just seems too new to have been built in the DDR. Paint finish is too fresh even with the scratches. The hub adhesive looks fresh and doesn't show the typical dulling down that 30 year old adhesive would. It doesn't even look like it's ever had a tyre glued to it because there is literally no evidence of glue residue on it at all. It's very strange! I can only conclude that the damage must have been from it being dropped on the rim. Have you got a link to that other wheel? Would be interested to see it.

Yes, check the pics. Rim damage is a bash which has exposed some dry fibres. I think it just needs some resin here. Sidewall is split through but it'll just need grinding back a bit and a patch bonding on. Sand back and repaint or stickerbomb and it'll be as good as new. I just haven't got time to do it.

Don't really know. Bought it in the classifieds with some damage. Thought to maybe be a Brick Lane Bikes prototype. It's mounted backwards in the hub, so the 'aero' is backwards, lol. It's carbon and the hub is really nice. I was going to repair it as it just needs a couple of really basic repairs (and I'm a composites specialist), but I doubt I'll get time, so it's back up for sale for what I paid for it: £25.

115mm Deda Zero 2 stem. Fitted to my old Dolan but never actually used. Basically sits in my box unused and needs a new home (for some reason I thought this was 150mm but it clearly isn’t)
Cane Creek Crosstop levers are for oversize bars. Very little use and same story as the stem.
I'm out in the sticks and won't be in London for a while. Say £17.50 delivered for the levers and £15 delivered for the stem?
