Can anyone recommend a good knee surgeon? Had an arthroscopy for a complicated meniscus tear about a year ago which has made my knee a lot worse. I can't ride a bike at all now. I've lost faith in the local surgeons to me, they never really instilled a lot of confidence in me.
Was looking at Andy Williams or Bill Ribbans, both sports specialists, but neither operate through the NHS any more. South of England / London area preferred.

Don't use a hand drill! Doubt a bike shop would, surely (hopefully?) more likely to use a drill press. I drilled mine that way. Just be sure you're going to get it right though, because the original fork is basically irreplaceable.
You can use any 1" threaded forks in these frames as long as the steerer is the right length. You'll just have to change the headset for a 1" threaded one instead of 26mm. I think I had to shim the head tube as well.

I've gone back a few pages but didn't find what I was looking for. What's the word on the street for in-ear plugs with a Lightning connector? Currently use Sennheiser CX200 and looking for something similar but with the Lightning connector already on them. Don't know if I'm ready to go full Bluetooth yet.

There's no logical reason why it would be bad, unless it has been damaged. The fibres don't degrade with time and neither does epoxy. Bonded frames like TVTs might make me a bit more nervous, but they're stuck together with the same stuff as Vitus 979s and they won't generally come apart unless you heat them right up.

I'd just cut all the spokes and start again. With a bit of luck you'll get one or two where the nipple will turn and you'll be able to measure the length. The rims and alloy flanges should polish back up and they'll build back up into some really nice wheels. I think @7ven was able to get some replacement old-gauge spokes.

YES! To be honest, if it was wrong this time round I was going to offer to get it modified for you at work. We do carbon here.
