I got the glow in the dark one. Shamed to say it’s a paperweight for me too. But that’s down to kid number two arriving last year and a really busy period of work this past 6 months. Before that it was getting a lot of use and I’m looking forward to firing it up again soon and getting stuck into Chrono Trigger

When I was 13 I found £50 and user @Currid convinced me to buy a Suede album with it from Saffron Records in St Austell. Straight back to swap it for Daft Punk’s first album the next day

I went to their last gig before they split. It was at the Eden project and my brother grabbed me a ticket for something to do. Walking down the hill was hilarious enough, all the middle aged men doing their monkey walks in their parkas. I had a pretty big mop of curly hair at the time and one of these mad-fer-it types shouted “get your hair cut” at me. He looked like sloth from the Goonies, so when I countered with the obvious, and clearly paraphrased, “I can get it cut any time, whose going to sort out that face of yours though?” He actually started crying.
