I've found that the grey ano on h plus son archetypes has lasted a fair bit longer than expected. Over 1000 miles so far and it's still there.
Wouldn't recommend the veloflex masters above if you plan on commuting on it, while they look and ride great, I've never had a tyre that punctured so often and that was in summer. Pasela's would look similar with a fair bit of added toughness

a bit more clearance with the 23's, you might be able to squeeze a 25 on narrow rims.
I'm not sure how much the tyre profile would change with tubulars but i think you'd be taking a bit of a risk with 27c. There's a bit more clearance at the back but there'd be no room for mud/debris clearance on the fork if the tyre fitted at all.
As for P-R i'd probably want as many spokes as possible but 32/32 would cover it i'd have thought

Please excuse the state of it, after 37 miles in the rain this afternoon i couldnt bring myself to clean it as it'll probably be damp again tomorrow anyway
Paceline forum suggests that the F1 fork is the limiting factor rather than the rear chainstays. Its got 25c Conti 4 Seasons on it for the winter and i wouldn't want to go much bigger than that. They're on archetypes which will make a difference to the tyre profile, i'd imagine they'd almost touch on Open Pro's

just as a bit of a watch out on the price of shipping the tube over, serotta quoted me $25 (+postage) for replacement barrel adjusters. Postage for a single small envelope was charged at $45 when the invoice came through and i was subsequently stung with a £21.51 customs charge as apparently you have to pay tax on the value of item + shipping value. A $25 part ended up costing about £65.

just seen the last couple of pages, terrible news about the seattube! Thought it looked like a seatpost may have been used above minimum insertion or slightly too small and flexed.
I think modern groupsets on steel frames can look good, im pretty happy with the athena on mine but thats relatively classic looking. A black campag build would be my preference. Dont think the modern Ultegra/Dura Ace cranksets would look quite so good on one of these which leaves you force/red or chorus/record but the parts you've bought to date are silver/ti
the blue/light blue fade a page or two ago is amazing, would be very tempted by that were i going for a respray

the bars are great, have been thinking about replicating the pro-chrome and hwy-1 combo for a long ride set up on my Mercian vig. I 've got a set of carbon record levers in a box under my bed that i've been meaning to use for ages.
Dammit - If it had been front-ended i'd have thought it'd show in the forks which i doubt are very easily replaceable. Better safe than sorry though and the metallic gunmetal gray on the faded CSI on the first page is pretty nice.

Looks a little bit like there are some bulges towards the top of the seattube in a couple of the pictures. Thats not the case is it?
Mine has some slight rust bubbles (just lifting the paint slightly) in the same place under the toptube. I also paid significantly more for mine and it came without the cable adjusters which turned out to be a very expensive addition. Great frames, great price

I'm a shade under 6ft and really comfortable on my 57. With a bit more seatpost and 20mm more stem I'd have thought 6'2" would be fine. Mind you. If you do end up selling I think I like the colour of yours more than mine..
