All the dropouts are original, I lightly rubbed some anti-oxidisation polish over the frame hence the slight white discolouration on the drop outs.The frame has not been cold set, I'm a bit OCD and don't like the idea of cold setting hence it took me ages to find the right hubs which slot in perfectly, front is spaced at 95 and rear 115.

Up for sale is my Bates project, not yet complete.
Bates Best All Rounder frame set, pretty much top of the range at the time.
Reynolds 531 Cantiflex tubes (pretty cool stuff) and Nervex Professional lugs.
Frame size: 59ctc seat tube, 58cm ctc top tube
Frame cosmetically is in need of restoration or can be used as is.
Structurally very sound, all straight, no dings or dents, good threads.Comes with:
Original headset and Bayliss Wiley BB which have been cleaned and re-greased.
Reynolds seat post.
Dunlop lightweight rims 32/40
Milremo Hubs 115/95 (these are a perfect fit for the frame and took forever to source) fixed/free
Ofmega cottered crankset.
4 period track cogs: 14T, 2x 16T, 17T. Lockring and spacer.
2 pairs of wing nuts.
Original seat post nut and bolt and the screws for the mudguard bosses.It needs stem, handlebars, saddle, pedals and chain to complete.

Anyone got a 49T chainring? trying to do some magic gearing.
