I have for sale my Walvale made by Norman Roberts. Frame and forks only (Tange headset incl.)
Here's what I could find about him:
"I think also Norman Roberts, Jim Soens mechanic, deserves a mention. Norman was team mechanic on the Tour l'Avenir as well as Peace Race. Though Norman considers his crowning glory was building the frame Bill Nickson used to win the Milk Race. As well as frames for other great riders."
http://www.classiclightweights.co.uk/builders/jim-soens-builder.html
About the frame:
531c
Top tube ctc 56cm
Seat Tube ctc 58cm
internal cabling on top tube
cut out BB.
There are a few blemishes on the paint here and there and one miniscule ding on top tube, I tried to take photo.Really light and rides great, then again I would say that - but really though.

@anidel my thought was that most other parts can be quite subjective to personal preference. And most of my cash is tied up in the frame :(
I'll get the other parts cleaned up and see if I can tempt anyone with a half complete build.
-
@pharoahsanders yea my bad
It's 59x58 from what I remember. Will double check when I get a chance.
@anidel frame looks deceptively small I bought it thinking it was a 57 even seeing it in person, maybe because rear triangle is quite tight?
Not too keen to sell the bb without having the frame sold as in the likely event that it doesn't sell I'd like to build it up in the distant future. Am already half way with the parts at the moment for it to be built into a period fixie.

Ok, just went out and measured it. it's 52 ctc on seat tube and 54 ctc where the imaginary top tube is if that makes any sense.
This bike is really cool and pictures don't do it justice, it'd look a lot fresher too with a clean and maybe some modernising (new grips? brooks saddle? maybe take off the chunky mudguards and replace with some modern slimmer bluemels) but since it's all original I don't have the heart to mess about with it.

As title suggests this was my pub bike. BSA 58x58. Not the prettiest but functional.
