i fucking hate these smallminded pedestrians that will criticise you when you haven't done anything remotely dangerous or inconsiderate. i'm not to blame for your crappy life.
This.
I had the temerity to ring my bell when approaching a pedestrian who had walked into the road without looking and was called a wanker for my troubles. I hurled some obscenities in his direction in return but really would rather not have to have these confrontations with inconsiderate road users.
Anyway, have never really met any of you forumengers so can't really do this spotted thing - however did see a chap on a black Bob Jackson with track drops (nice bike) riding no hands past Queens Park station yesterday afternoon. I almost shouted "Do a Skid" but felt he would struggle given the lack of hand retention.

Congrats to all those that completed it and massive respect to those that rode back.
This was the my first time on the Dynamo. Did it fixed (48:19) - struggled with some of the descents but managed the climbs okay. Knees were in some pain from about 80 miles and the last 15 miles after the Framlingham bacon sandwich stop were a real struggle. Nonetheless, will be back next year.

I'm a noob round these parts but saw a lady on a very nice white/pink Bob Jackson on Clerkenwell Road and later on New Cavendish St. about 6:00 yesterday evening. She told me that it sounded like my chain was too tight - which it was. Thanks for the kind advice, duly resolved and had a lovely ride in this morning as a result. Cheers!

These list threads are a great resource - thanks. However, I think that I may have become even more indicisive than I was at the time had I discovered this thread prior to purchasing. As it is, I bought the Cinelli Gazetta (grey) OTP and absolutely love the thing although it doesn't appear on the list. Majority of the parts are okay (miche/ cinelli/ deda). All at £775 from velodromeshop.co.uk.

Very handy thread. As I think is mentioned above the M&S policy does not suit all (well me anyway) as it requires that ground floor windows have key operated locks. Whilst this may not have much bearing on the loss or damage to a bike whilst away from the home, it does call into question the overall validity of what is a household policy in the absence of such security.
That aside, I would be keen to know whether anybody has any experience of the ETA claims service - in particular whether they readily make cash settlements or whether they try to offer vouchers.

I almost feel inadequate now for not being able to do no handed skidz or even considering them to be difficult. Should I see no handed Bob Jackson man again then I will surely bellow "Do A Skid" at him...
