Smallfurry, i've read they're (ss evo) meant to be a bit sluggish in small sizes anyway due to not chaining the fork for smaller frames.

On evans it's £1000 difference.

If you go up one level to the DA you get the hallowgrams.
So it is a bit of a shame, but the the price jump is large between the 2.

Can someone with more knowledge tell me what would be different/better between these two bikes. As both can be had for near £3k.

The canyon has a better wheelset, if I understand right, but otherwise they're pretty similar, geo wise. The dale has a slightly shorter reach, through seat-tube length and angle.

I'm running, 48/15 on my Felt right now, the stock gear, however I find it's a little small and have been advised it's a bit small after a chat with a coach last night, from my riding.

I see some people here run 48/15, would they be able to spin better?

I've been told 49/15 is a better gear to be in?
