I've never really looked on gumtree for bikes before, there appears to be an awful lot of "bargains" on there that are offered for sale by people who don't really know what they are selling. Finding it a touch depressing.

Given the amount of apathy that the police seem to display for stolen bikes I don't like your chances but will keep my fingers crossed for you.

It strikes me as being slightly suspicious that the one night you put your bike into the shed it goes missing, how well does your mate know his neighbours?
