I've had problems in the past crosscutting with a track saw and new blade on more exotic species of timber the worst being wenge. Not so much in terms of surface chipping, although it has happened, but when the saw breaks through on the side at the end of the cut. A blade with a high tooth count certainly helps so I've got into the habit having one that I put on when doing such cuts.

80T is too much for a blade that size
80 tooth blades that size are great for crosscutting or small chopsaws as it will minimise tear-out and chipping without the hassle of making a 0 clearance insert or backing the workpiece. If you try ripping with one unless the wood is very dry the blade will clog and generate enough heat to dull it almost instantly. Would be ok for MFC.
@ILB erbauer may be a Screwfix brand. It's certainly only sold in the UK by Screwfix (no idea if it even exists outside of the UK). So it's likely that they are taking a leaf out of evolution's book and dropping the price of a saw because only they are able to supply hassle free blade changes (in much the same way that razor blades often cost 2x as much as the actual razor). With regard to the track; you bought a precision tool if you don't think it's precise take it back and get another one or something a bit better. Edit I see you've already decided to take it back.

In my experience complacency is the reason stuff goes wrong with dangerous equipment. Personally I think you're much more likely to be complacent with something like that.
Out of curiosity did you have to pay for shipping? I'm a little bit peeved because Bosch's UK head office and distribution centre is walking distance from here and I'm having to pay a tenner for shipping.

Very good saw, at a very good price. So good I've risked the wrath of my accountant and blown my tool budget for this quarter when I have 0 income...... But it's a bargain.
Other option was to get a festool with the saws top tech but for the 5 times a year I'll really use it
Saw stop tech is very good but designed for the US commercial market it is much less relevant here. To give you an example; if I run my big saw in my workshop without a riving knife and crown guard and anything happens I risk serious jail time. Basically in the US they use tablesaws for almost everything often without a riving knife or crown guard. In this situation the saw stop tech becomes a sensible addition safety wise its not worth saw stop marketing here because commercially there is 0 demand hence why they've licenced it to a company to put on site saws because safety on building sites is slightly more laissez-faire than in a workshop especially when a foreman utters the fateful words "just get it done, I don't care how."

The lad insisted that we went mountain biking today so after much shouting at the TV yesterday my wife's dirty looks made me guilty enough to miss the match and catch up later. Upon seeing the infringement my initial response was to glaze over and reminisce about the days when that would be called a robust clear-out. Stupid thing is if he'd made even the slightest attempt to bind as he engaged it would likely have been a penalty, if he'd not swung his elbow out it would have been yellow at worst. Wales were let off the hook big time.

Think I've mentioned it to you in the past but cutwrights will lets you design your own flatpack stuff and give them a cut list and you'll get exactly what you want. They can drill for cam and dowels for drawers and will even supply quality Blum hardware (hinges, runners etc) where everything has been pre-drilled. They do great quality ply and birch ply as well.

Turns out that gorilla glue is not a suitable alternative to hairspray.

but with 70% possession and 68% territory, they scored 11 points and won by a single score...
To be honest the fact that they ground out the win is a sign that things are starting to go right mentally for the Scotland team (this is by no means likely to last but as a long suffering fan I remain hopefull). Scotland played the percentage game well in conditions that deteriorated throughout the second half. Two years ago at 60 minutes in the same position they would have panicked that given the territory and possession they had they weren't on for a BP win; tried to force the game and would have subsequently gifted the match to England. The fact that they didn't and were confident enough to grind out a win away from home in tricky circumstances shows developing nous and maturity - something that we have missed for a long time, remember the 2015 quarter final against Aus? Instead of sticking it up their jumper for the final 2 minutes they for some reason tried to play flamboyant rugby that decision and some poor refereeing lost us a semi final spot having outplayed a team that went on to the final.

Scotland showing the benefit of picking in form Exeter players in Hogg and Gray
Johnny going to Exeter could be the making of him as a world class player IMO. For a long time he has dominanted the carry and tackle stats in pretty much every match he has played in, yet has never made as big an impact as his stats suggest he should be doing. Since going to Exeter he has developed some real dog and aggression in his play something that I'm very grateful to Mr Baxter and his team for.

Scotland excellent and outrageous that England were somehow still in the game with a minute left
The conditions towards the end of the game were atrocious meaning that when you'd expect Scotland to start flinging it wide and stretching their legs it wasn't on so they were reduced to pick and go in the tight channels which was where England were strongest.

No need to be sorry. Italy is by far the best away trip in the 6 nations.
Last time I went there I went with my cousin who used to live in Rome and about 15 other friends. My cousin arranged for us to eat a very nice meal at a posh restaurant that he knew the owners of, we finished the meal and were presented with a 2 litre bottle of home made limoncello.
In commercial woodworking the table saw is replaced by the planer (jointer if you're American). Good example would be this video (not for those of a week constitution no graphic images but still pretty intense)

For those interested there is a whole series documenting his recovery and rather amazingly his eventual return to work.
