Howdy,
Selling my Rory O'Brien track frame and forks, as you can see from the seatpost height it's always been a bit small for me. Due to this, I've probably ridden a max of 30 miles in the last year so have decided it's best to go to a better home.
In good condition, the paint's started to chip a little bit but is generally in good nick. There's a small crack just below the seatpost bolt that was there when I purchased it in 2020, looking inside the seat tube it looks like it's been welded and it hasn't got any worse since I've owned it, I have the seatpost at max height as well and has never flexed in the frame etc.
I think the frame dates to the early 90's, definitely belongs on a track but is a solid and nippy bike on the road. Campagnolo dropouts and forks drilled for a break.
Included will be:
- Frame & forks
- headset (replaced 18mo ago)
- bb (replaced 18mo ago).
Build up for pics but will be getting stripped down soon.
Seat Tube - 61cm - centre to top
Top Tube - 54cm - centre to centre
Head Tube - 22cm - top to topBased in Brighton.
Looking for £190 collected, can post if costs are covered.

I'm after some threaded forks with a decent rake if anyones got? The ones I'm riding currently are giving me a little too much toe/pedal strike. My frame has pretty squat geometry and I think this is the best short term fix.
Chrome would be ideal, but not preference really, drilled for brake, steerer length of 250mm (20mm threaded).
This is for my daily commute bike so doesn't have to be anything flashy, just sturdy and in decentish condition. -
I do as much as I can myself, recently had to take my bike in to Baker St for an insurance quote and a full rebuild as my frame cracked after an accident, which funnily enough happened at the Preston Circus junction, just down from Rayments.
It's just headsets and bb's I avoid like the plague. I also do all my bike work at the bottom of my stairs which is fun...

This is good to know, thanks guys. Rayments is on my commute to and from work which is nice. @sea-level I had a look at Paul/Rule 5, mental cargo setup! Kudos points for strapping Wonder Wipes to forks.

I have absolutely no idea what my stack and reach is. I've been trying to work it out for the last few days but to no avail.
I'm currently riding this aforementioned "T-Rex" frame, which is actually pretty comfy now I've put some wide risers on (pursuit bars prior). But the pedal/toe strike is less than ideal for a commuting bike. Another option is finding some forks with a 250mm steerer and a decent rake.
Bump and drop to £150.
It's been stored nice and dry in my flat for the last (looks at thread) 7 months 🙃
