Quite often actually and at relatively low altitude. There aren't any tactical places to land one in or around the city so they would have to land miles away and then the response teams would have to be driven in. Pointless really. There will be no shortage of support if needed tonight.
I saw an Apache gunship low flying over Blackheath a few months ago. That properly freaked me out...

The only forum jersey at the Gypsy Moth this morning was Xander. It it was just a few people with him that would have been me (Save HH cap) and OneLessCardigan, Ashleyisdabest and the B2B massive. You should have stopped and said hi!
Yeah - should have done. Only saw the jersey as I was pretty much past the pub. Could have shown you what became of jallaphanti's rust brown langster.. (no longer rust brown)

Yeah mate you would have done...we were in Greenwich/Deptford for most of the early morning one way or another.
Spotted a forum jersey with a few mates outside the Gypsy Moth in Greenwich this morning. Thought it might be start of a Tour. Jersey wearer was a dead ringer for an old school friend - any ideas who it was Stonehedge?

Sure is..

strangley it reminded me of barcelona.

A mate and I spent a week at the Vitra fire station surveying it for a uni architecture project in cough 1995. It had just stopped being a functioning fire station and was being prepared to become a chair museum... Zaha always went on about how the state of readiness of the fire engines and firemen gave the building an implied extra sense of movement and without them it was kind of a sorry place.. You did feel that you had be moving the whole time you were inside and the thought of it becoming a place to look at things for sitting down on was pretty ironic..
Oh and the big cantilever on the front was sagging a bit.
Still love it though.
