Got my first FKT on Saturday. Nice day out in the Surrey Hills. Thought the time I was trying to beat was seven minutes faster than it was so finished thinking I had missed it by a minute.https://fastestknowntime.com/route/surrey-3-peaks-united-kingdom
Not entirely certain why I am classed as supported when others are classed as unsupported who ran it with someone else.

I've stopped. Sadly. I got ill. Missed a hill session and a long run. Lost motivation for a week. Decided to jump straight back in with a tough speed session 8x300 and 4 x150, which I did at 4:45-4:48, so a decent lick. Then couldn't walk due to achilles pain for about 4 days. Felt a bit better so did the virtual road relays time trial, 5 miles in 28.24 and hurt myself again. Have made it up to 40 minutes today but can't toe off on my left foot. So yeah, will have to start again at some point, particularly now there's racing possibilities ahead.

235 miles here. Started @doubleodavey 10k plan and even after only two weeks I can feel things beginning to click again.
Did two hours this morning. First hour along the Thames was scenic but busy and second hour through acton and along the a40 was quiet and less scenic.

@doubleodavey that 10k training programme is great. it got me into great shape before the Chichester 10k, but then I fell over in the Box Hill fell race two weeks before and it was all ruined.

No. Go for it.
