I have this reasonably crummy SE bike that I ordered a brake for, foolishly assuming that a regular looking Shimano front caliper brake (Tiagra) would fit a regular sized road bike.

I was wrong. The shoes only reach down to the tire, not to the rim. I can't see that I can adjust anything (other than moving the shoes up or down that bracket they're on, which I already tried), is there something I can do about this problem or do I need to buy a new brake?

I also overtightened the cable anchor nut and le stripped the thread.

Black Swan was pretty decent for a Hollywood film. I saw some Oscar nomination for it, so looked up some other nominated films and ended up watching The Kings Speech - I really didn't think a film about a stuttering king could've been decent, but they did it.

This would be awesome. Copenhagen can be reasonably cheap if you do your research. Obviously nothing like Berlin/Germany though.
