Sold!
Afternoon, this was a project which never really got started. I don't know much about the frame as I rescued it from possibly the worst build I've ever seen and since then it's just sat in my cupboard. From the little research I did when I first bought it I'm 90% sure it's a imperial petrel frame from the 40's made by a guy called Joe Scott- this is mainly based on the act that it's very unusual got the serial stamp on the lower heatube lug, i think he is the only one to who did this but I don't know for sure.
Seatube ctc- 21.5"
Top tube ctc- 23"Anyway it could make a nice little restoration for someone. It has track ends, mudguard eyelets and is drilled for brakes so is just begging to be built in to a fixed commuting bike if nothing else. The geo is pretty slack as you'd expect of something with so much age. It has currently got a horrible rattlecan paint job but one resprayed could be quite nice. Included in the sale is frame, forks, headset and bb.
I have very little idea about price but I imagine** £120** is fair but please tell me if I'm wrong. I'm based in Bournemouth but will be in London Tuesday night and Wednesday if someone wants me to bring it up. If not its collection from Bournemouth or post at cost. Cheers.

I've got a track/path frame that I've had for a while and I want to now sell on. I'm reasonably sure it's an imperial petrel from the 30's/40's (mainly because of the serial stamp on the lower ht lug). It's got track ends, is drilled for brakes, has mudguard eyelets and isn't especially light. It currently has a rather garish rattlecan paint job in ironman hotrod red and gold! My question- how much is this sort of thing worth, if anything?! Cheers.

I've got another wheelset just kicking about that I don't use so getting rid.
It's a set of Weinmann DP 18 white rims laced to unknown black hubs with black spokes- would look pretty cool de-stickered. Flip flop rear hub, I'll include a fixed sprocket and a freewheel so you're good to go. Will also come with rim tape and 3 track nuts (can't find a spare fourth!)
The wheelset is in good condition and ready to roll, braking surfaces still good. Pictures will be up tonight.
I think £60 is a good price but tell me if not. To avoid any confusion, by all means express your interest on here but I will sell to the person who PM's me to confirm their interest first.
I'm based in Bournemouth now so it's either going to be posted at cost or I will be passing through London this Sunday at about midday and could meet you with the wheels. But you would have to be punctual as I have a train to catch!

Hi all,
Had this wheelset kicking around for a while and have no real need for it. Polished alloy high flange hubs and rims in good nick. Both rims nice and true with good braking surfaces, rear hub perfect but front needs a service as its a bit gritty but still spins well. Flip flop rear comes with a 16tooth shimano freewheel and a 16 tooth fixed sprocket. Track nuts included as well.
Apologies for the shit photo.
I would like a barginous £50 please. Collection from Bournemouth or I will post at cost.
