Had my bike robbed off of me a few weeks ago on roman road.

Just wanted to ask what amount of time it was between your bike being pinched and ending up on Gumtree?

I was trawling all stolen bike sites and brick lane up until the search for a new ride took over a week ago. Still checking every day, but not seen it as yet.

What bike was it mate? I live around here so will keep an eye out for you...

A said day has come, work have now fucked my pay up so badly that I'm poor enough to have to get rid of this. So... I bought this to restore but alas it's going to be a big job and I can't afford, but needless to say it will be incredible when finished. It will come with:

Cinelli 1A stem (stuck, but haven't really tried hard to shift it)
Campag record Headset
Forks and frame
Mirage BB (thanks pistoffski)
Front record brake
Left hand record DT shifter

I don't know the model but I'm guessing it's something special considering the record group, internal cable rooting and full chrome forks and rear stays. Also the BB shell looks like something special. The only defect is a little defect at the top of the seat tube, it doesn't seem to be getting worse and doesn't effect seat post insertion. Apart from that no dents and frame and forks are both perfectly straight. So anyone interested in taking the project on?

1. Nice retro tt/pursuit set-up- Mavic bull horns with Scott tri bars and tektro bar end brake levers. Really comfortable set-up, fitted with new tape and some profile design arm rests. Will split if necessary- £50 price drop £45

2. 105 front mech- Band on (26.8mm) fd 1055 2x7 speed- £5

3. 105 downtube shifters- from the same group as the fd, braze on, no bolts at the moment but maybe I can find them, good condition though- £8 prov sold

4. Unbranded 18t sprocket- really light, 1/8th, lightly used-£3 NOW £2

5. 105 rear brake- shimano 105 single pivot rear brake caliper, no pads- £5

6. ITM quill stem- for 1" steerer and 26mm bar, 120mm - PROVISIONALLY SOLD

7. Beater frame and bits- frame, fork, headset (needs service), BB (needs service), stem and riser bars with grips. All you need is wheels,crank, chain and seat and you're off :) - £40- NOW £35 Now £25 - prov sold

Free stuff:

1. Beater saddle- brand is haro, not great condition- free

2. Chrome drops- 26 clamp- free

3. Back protector- new -a beer
