Not true. It depends on the head tube angle. It just happens that most have a head tube angle of about 73 degrees. 73 + 17 = 90 = parallel. A steep head tube at 80* degrees would need a -10 degree stem to be parallel to the ground.

The Genesis fork is nicer than the kinesis. Aesthetically... Not sure on weight and stuff.

Also, there's only 5mm head tube difference in the Genesis and kinesis. Here's the 2016 geo attached for the Genesis.

Ah ok, didn't consider the saddle being massively far forward. Turn a Thomson layback around haha.

Considering the kinesis is 73.5 in the largest size and the Genesis is 72.5 the offset of the 1 degree can be compensated for by seatpost offset...?

Let's not forget the Genesis equilibrium disc at £550 rrp. Reynolds 725 and a carbon fork. Cheaper, better and nicer looking than the kinesis =]

My bad, I thought the 240mm of usable post on the zipp meant to below the clamp but it's probably to centre of clamp isn't it... Looking forward to this build!

Surely you'd get about 30mm back with the seatpost clamp stack height and the saddle stack height then if your measurement is to the top of the saddle? So the zipp would just about fit no? Maybe.

Think of the dual actuating pads though! Easy to adjust when you're drunk and have rotor rub ha.
