SCHWALBE PICK-UP
SCHWALBE‘S FIRST TRUE CARGO TIRE. Due to its extremely stable double carcass, the Schwalbe Pick-Up becomes a real packhorse and at the same time offers excellent puncture protection. In addition, the ADDIX E-Compound ensures exceptionally good riding performance and grip, even in the 20 ‚‘ version. With the ECE-R75 certification, the Schwalbe Pick-Up is the optimal choice for all e-cargo bikes.SUPER DEFENSE: The extremely strong double carcass gives the tire excellent safety under heavy loads. Multiple carcass layers give the tire extra puncture protection.

Not sure they'll fit on the Douze yet as the mudguard spec is for 50mm tyres - should be snug.
Width is 2.15 which should be 55mm but they look way way wider. I will confirm fitted size & rim width once I get round doing it

Another sidewall bites the dust...
My "Schwalbe Energizer Plus TOUR GreenGuard Wired EBike", in use for 3 months only, didn't like going down a pavement kerb (unloaded).
Got some Schwalbe Pick-up this time so hopefully will last longer than Energizer (3 months) / Marathon Plus (6 months).
First impressions - feels heavy and almost like a moped tyre. Inspiring confidence!
EDIT: Purchased from Fawkes Cycles online, 20 x 2.15 front £31.65, 26 x 2.15 rear £33.95

Chances are the logos are printed on top of the lacquer so you might be able to scrape them off with some sort of plastic scraper like a bank card.
Acetone will likely work however if you rub too hard, it might remove the layer of lacquer as well, leaving the raw alloy below open to the elements & oxydation

Hi @Rollorosso.
It will be happening of course, but no plans yet.
As always the dates won't be fixed until mid August but no harm in showing early interest!

There is a 50cl bottle named "Pinte" but I have not seen IRL.
Also trading standard aren't likely to let that happen as it might be seen as some sort of shrinkflation.
The minimum maturation is bottles is 15 months for Non Vintage and 36 months for Vintage so if it did happen, it wouldn't be overnight.
I have half bottles available here in London if people want to try to down them...

New saddle day for my Douze Cargo.
I purchased a Brooks C67 Cambium back in October as I have a C15 carved on my road bike and I get on with it very well.
The C67 description sold it to me:
The Cambium C67 is designed for the commuter, urban cyclist and casual tourer, perfect for E-bike, cargo bikes and Dutch-style bikes, or for anyone cycling in the upright riding position in all weathers
https://www.brooksengland.com/en_uk/c67.htmlBut in reality, the nose is a tad wide for my liking and the shape of the saddle effectively pushes you back so your butt bones sit right at the back of saddle close to the rivet line where there is hardly any suspension.
IMO, it's fine for short distances but I could not do 2 hours on it - which is what I do regularly when I deliver Champagne.
I got a C19 carved in the CRC/Wiggle sale - will report what it is like!

Sorry to hear about the thefts - a friend of mine had his bikes stolen in the same way.
They used an emergency service key (can be bought on eBay/Amazon) to bypass the magnetic building door then when straight to the electrical cupboard and turned off the magnetic locks of the bike room.
They did not cut any bike lock though as they stole the full racks since they are only attached with 2x bolts. A big design flaw for which you can't sue the developer!
And they came back three times on separate days to raid the full bike store.
My friend management company had a vault type door installed afterwards which requires both fob & keys to be opened so can't be bypassed by turning off the electricity.
Schwalbe Energizer Plus TOUR GreenGuard Wired has been removed and returned to Schwalbe for a refund.
For reference 44mm wide on a 19mm inner width rim. (Sold at 47mm wide)
