Just looked at the foffa. Not really any difference on the frames they build up compared to the create. Only named components pumping the price up. Looking good though.

The create will be ridden, fall part, but in the process make a non bike educated person happy in the process? (before the falling apart)

I do enjoy a good banter over bike bits..Not whilst being eyed up for a kidney transplant.

Oh yeah....Its not like you cant buy the same components on brick*lane*bikes on internet traders from china from the same manufacturer for 1/100th the price for 100 units.....Just as well the logo cost 40 smacks.

Pretty much the majority of all parts on the market are manufactured in China..Taiwan.. then rebranded over here, (forget about america and japan). The idea of material superiority is either brand enforced or a reflection of the user's opinion. You all must agree that Create has created (sorry for that) a brand identity, of which people are buying for the look of the bike rather than the performance, function, consideration of the product intended purpose (of which due to the nature of materials and processes used the create bike pretty much has none except mild/leisure cycling).
I am aware of the concept that money buys you what you pay for.....Its not like my carbon bianchi appeared from the sky. Surely the create fills a requirement and market gap, other wise they would not exist.

Upon reflection, I can fully understand all the comments made.. and from previous thought processes know that a bike on the 'bay would be more substantial than a create. Just wanted to feel the views toward and find out why they thought this.

Sooooo, If a brand appeared on the market, with a bike aimed at the £350 bracket with no named parts on it but looked the absolute tits....would you be intrigued?

Just wondered if there was a market for cheap, good looking bikes, and consequently if someone were to buy a create, would their right arm be snapped off in replacing every component within the week.

Well,,,, Im currently at Uni in Loughborough and use a Charge Plug 2010 as a daily driver, but on the weekend and few weekdays I have to go to london, (where I can stay at my 'rents house and commute to work). I dont want anything too flashy or expensive you see. I also have a '78 Holdsworth built up for sunny days, not one to be nicked, knifed or scraped.

I just wondered if the components were of average quality and represented a good value for money. There are a couple of guys on campus with them.... which to be fair dont look too bad(from a distance)... but never seen one up close.

A change in circumstances mean that I need another bike to commute around town. My regular bike causes too much hassle to take in the car so am tempted to splash out on a new single speed to commute once I arrive.

For a second bike i want a cheap singlespeed.
For the sake of £250, is a create much worse than a charge at 550????

Whats the majority view????
