Tiny purple sirius track frame locked by Hulme asda. Front brake removed and slung over handlebars. Strange way of going brakeless, guessing the front wheel is out of true?

Yeah i run a front brake, you need one with the hills round Manc way. I've done 150 milers on the track bike. So guess i could take it touring. Fancy something where i'm fairly self reliant though. Bivvy bag is a possibility i guess. Wrong thread anyway. Someone post something droolworthy.

You're never too young to enjoy tourer, who doesn't love a bloody good tour?
It's worth noting that those kind of bicycle are hardly tourer, as they're designed to be ridden as far and fast as possible from a comfortable 100k to a staggering 1,200k (Paris-Brest-Paris) at a time limit, they're build with similar tubing as a road performance bicycle and have fewer mount for racks
I'm starting to agree with this. I have my track bike, my racing bike and my classic road bike. Think a light tourer/randonneur should be next on the list. N + 1. Though that's liable to result in GF-1.

If i was travelling around Scandinavia it might be a smörgåsbord. In Europe it's probably just a cold buffet.

I'm far too young to be loving tourers as much as i love that. The rear brake routing is bloody lovely. Imagining myself rolling around europe with some cheese and dried meats in the front.

Any tips on repacking the Miche hubs? Done over 8000km on these in 6 months and the only issue has been one broken spoke. Highly reccomended.
