What's brand is the 107mm BB? Miche are ISO and your JIS (if that's what they are) will sit further in.

You should ideally make sure your fitting ISO to ISO, JIS to JIS etc.

It seems to be unbranded as it came with my frame but, its definitely a JIS version which should be right for the RD2. I guess I should look for a 103mm on the safe side then!

I'm pretty new to road bikes as such as I've ridden bmx all my life... but would using cranks that were designed for a certain sized taper matter if you used a bb that was longer than what is needed? for example;

using a sugino rd2 with a 107mm bb when its actually designed for 103mm? does it just not fit?

forgot to add silver too :) Don't really want to pay more than £50 for the set as I've seen some on here go for decent prices. I think I've missed a few that was up on ebay, which sucks. Only decided to get them lately.
