on another note...
agricultural or not, i also have a soft spot for pickups. drove 26k kms in a camperised d22 through most of south america and i love that machine to bits..
coversion was homemade - did it with only a drill, a few screwdriver bits, a handsaw and the help of the gf :)
i tried letting her drive once, but she’s significantly shorter than me and our d22 has a bench, so when she was driving, my knees were practically in the glovebox..
(we had a matress on top of the wooden structure, a hidden chest beneath it [only accessible by lifting the matress and front part of the wooden stuff from the cabin - was great for taking dangerous, illegal stuff across the borders, like fruit, eggs and dairy products...] and two large drawers for most of our shit)

hello all,
a friend of mine would like to sell his wheelset and i thought i'd advertise it here in case someone is after a pair of proper track wheels.
the hubs are campagnolo record high flange in pristine condition. they are laced to wolber profil tubular rims with dt swiss aerolite spokes/dt alloy nipples (a few replacements will be included). they are both absolutely true and the have never seen a brake (they don't have a brake track either..). the label is from an austrian (iirc) shop that belonged to a hungarian frame builder (see James' szekeres lopro - ).
can confirm weight on the weekend, but they felt really light in hand.
the cog pictured is not included, the tubs can be talked about (they are racing stuff for wooden tracks and have a few hundred meters on them). what you can see on the rim surface is some tub cement residue, but the pictured tubs are not glued on.
he's after £310 posted (dpd tracked and insured)
he's also interested in a rear corima track 4spok, or a set (px of course)
