well.. there is no information available on this frame (couldn't find it in any of the catalogues available online). i read somewhere that it's the same frame as the cyclocross headshok of the era - if that's true, then ht angle is 71.5, st angle is 74.

these should be a bit slacker by now since it had a 30mm headshok fork. lefty isn't much bigger in terms of a2c and it has 100mm of travel (the wheel doesn't reach the bottom lefty clamp when topped out). i can play with the a2c later as both of the lefty claps are adjustable.

EDIT: my protractor decided to give up, so i got no way of measuring.. will get a tape out and measure the forks themselves

somehow the curve of the forks is out of place.. giant once would suit better imho. burrows seatpost?

test ride today - this thing is amazing. needs bartape and a few bits for the lefty and it’s done.

not yet, i'm a bit busy atm with other projects/work, but i did get the brakes sorted (fully bled and working). i just need to finish the cabling and machine a plug/adjuster knob for the lefty.

got a better looking c2 seatpost and an slr instead of the horrendous placeholders it had before..

it's kind of a current project - it will be a gift for the gf.

i scored a tissot 784-2 caliber off ebay with a few parts missing. after realising that no shop will take it and sort the parts + put the thing together, i went full bender and thought "fine, i'll make my own watch...". got all the bits from 5 different countries and after a ton of reading + the magic of youtube, i took it apart, cleaned and lubricated it and put it back together (i've messed around with scale models, but fuck me these parts are small....). it works (yay!).

since there's only a few watches that i like "as they are" from the manufacturers, i didn't want to look for the original case. since i really love the skeleton designs where you can see all the internals, i wen't ahead and spent some time in inventor:

i got the glasses, the o-rings and the screws. the case will be machined from stainless steel (some time in january). it's going to have a mesh-type bracelet and i was planning to paint the hands yellow as i didn't want it to have a proper dial (also a nod to braun). the longer pointy bits on the black "dial"-thing are supposed to highlight the date.

i'm sure he does, but it would indeed be easier to ask your lbs.. :)
