I got more soaked yesterday morning by that massive rain shower at about 9:15 (in south London) than today. Dodged a bullet I think.

Alas, heavy rain forecast to start right on cue for my ride home today :-(

Heard a thing on 5live yesterday about renting in London.

The reporter was at an open house viewing in Honor Oak Park (where I reside) and they said it was a sealed bid process. "Oh", I thought. "That's not so unusual these days for buying a place."

They then said that the landlord wanted offers by the end of the day. It was for a rental flat. What the hell!? Ridiculous. Bidding wars for rent?!

It was just past St Pancras Hospital. route 46 (single decker). It was the worst behaviour from a bus driver I've encountered. To spray me was pathetic.

Traffic Droid had a nasty encounter with a bus driver in Kentish Town a month or so ago with a pretty horrible driver who was eastern european. nearly hit him then down the road he comes within inches of taking him out. deliberate intimidation using his bus and then just kept laughing at him. I would link it but he seems to have taken it down from his youtube account.

reported a bus driver who as I was overtaking when he was at a bus stop started to pull off and obviously saw I was nearly past but sped up instead of letting me go. I get ahead and there's a zebra crossing ahead and I stop to let the ped cross. bus driver honks his horn, pulls up to me and squirts me with washer fluid before ranting at me in some east european language and shouting "fuck" in my face. told me I shouldn't stop like that.

I obviously pointed out the zebra crossing and that he should have given me space and time.

Thinking about it, I maybe should have just let him win his little race rather than going past him. But he should have just given me time to get by, right?

two cars in quick succession pulled off idiotic overtaking manoeuvres past me this morning. any protest was met by various rude hand gestures. so frustrating.

Wouldn't usually mention those two types in the same breath. Worlds apart, in practically every way.

The film camera I miss the most was my old Rolleiflex 3.5F Planar. Check 'em out, utterly lovely cameras.
