I'm interested to know what the v60 can do that the clever can't. (I'm sure there is something, and I'm sure it would take a very skilled v60 user to see its full potential).

I meant that I prefer the process of using a v60 to a clever dripper.

I've never tried comparing them in a blind test but probably couldn't tell the difference if they were made using the same beans and water. I think I could with an aeropress and a v60 as pour overs always taste cleaner and lighter to me.

I'd say grind too fine if the dose is equivalent to what you would normally use.

^^ I prefer a pour over/v60 but clever drippers are very clean and easy to use.

So, I hear that the Friday Night Ride is mentioned in the latest issue of The Ride Journal, page 71. Just a heads up.

As people were talking HR a while ago...if i set up HR zones from a threshold test on a bike, are these still valid for use with running?

Also, does anyone know of a online guide of how to use HR zones with running? The BC website has stuff for bike training but I know nothing about using it with running.

There's an old guy who rides in on the same commute as me most days.
Rides an old, rusty steel frame with a three speed hub and has plastic crates bolted to the front and back. Must be mid 60's and has a position so aero it makes Bradley look like he's TT a Pashley Princess.

He also wears the shortest shorts I've ever seen. All though the winter, even in snow. #properhardcore
