Battery life on Moto G is better than the Nexus 4; i get two days of moderate use, would only get one on the 4.
Not really. It seems really nice, perhaps of a plastic feeling to the back case but that's to be expected really. It's also odd how you can remove the back, but the battery is fixed and can't be swapped out.
Still, I think it's a good looking phone and from the little I used it I wouldn't be unhappy to have one as my daily phone.
Thanks. I did have a look at one yesterday and agree about the back but I don't think it'll be an issue.

Ordered one this morning :) They are also doing double clubcard trade in on these, so got mine for £77!
I hope my nephew likes it... and doesn't trash it...
Also, it's cheap to unlock (as the tesco ones are locked to tesco mobile). About £2 for an unlock code from various ebay sellers :)
Did you have a play beore wrapping? Quite a few good reviews online, so wondering about getting one for the g/f for xmas. Which ebay seller did you use for the unlock code please?

Thirded. Tesco have had them discounted for the last week. They sell out, but have come back into stock at least once. The 8GB is £99, the 16gb is £129 (trade in clubcard points if you have them to reduce further).
Worth mentioning that the Moto G only comes with a USB cable, but not an actual charger. Any USB 5v ~1.5A charger is fine though
Cheers. A cursory look at second hand phones at lunchtime makes this by far the best deal. I have a few club card points as well!
Edit: Is this easy to unock?

Compared to a 90s brick no smartphone has 'good battery life'
They 'all' have decent cameras. What is your budget?
Minium you can enter android for is £80ish
I'd recommend you spend at least double that.Budget is less than £80 so I was going for second hand and then unlocking if needed. I know battery life is rubbish but was looking for the best available.
I'll look at the Moto G mashton mentioned. What about some of the older Samsung models? Anything worth looking at there?

I've been scanning this thread but any recommendations for some new shoes please? The very old Reeboks I have give little grip on grass and muddy hills and this is where I'm aiming to do most running over the winter. To the cheaper end of teh spectrum please?
Also, those arm band thingies (the technical term I believe...) that you put phones and mp3 players in. Are they generally all the same or is there a forum approved version?

Good work as I failed miserably to put anything else up!
You are looking for the place were ham meets hacker Neo's meat name.
Can someone please get this so I can understand Jules' clue!
Ham is Norwich slang for Heigham. There is a cut through on Heigham Street to the bridge which leads to Andersons Meadow.
Neo from The Matrix real world (i.e. meat) name is Thomas Anderson. -

Glad it's not just me. I have Rapha socks, they are nice but they aren't a patch on M&S merino socks for warmth. Not pricey at all either.
