I'm looking at getting the Sky Map app from Google.

One of the permissions it needs is "Allows the app to access the phone features of the device. This permission allows the app to determine the phone number and device IDs, whether a call is active and the remote number connected by a call."

Is there a reason that it needs this info to function or am I seeing some Google data gathering conspiracy where it doesn't exist?

If it's a non London train you are generally allowed to take bikes on without a reservation for Greater Anglia (although this is generally restricted to about 4 bikes per train). I've done Norwich to Cambridge without any problems before.

I think there is something in the air at the moment. I've had a few dodgy drivers this week and a guy at work was chased up Magdalen Street after he remonstrated a driver for pulling out in front of him.

I was down in Eastbourne the weekend before last with the Girlfiend seeing her mother, popped into a little farm-shop whilst there and grabbed a bag of beans as I had run out at home.

To be honest I was expecting very, very little from them- but I was very pleasantly surprised, they are really nice.

Picked up some new seeds last week: Cucamelon, callaloo, quinoa and sea kale. Should be good for somethibg a bit different this year. Need to get some chilli seeds in as well but the weather really isn't conducive at the moment.

If anyone is going tomorrow I'll be there about 2.30/3pm ish.
