I have a powder-coated Pinarello, with a 58cm top tube, 19.2 cm headtube, 62ctt seat tube.
Columbus steel (SL, I Believe).Campag dropouts on the frame, non-original forks (Columbus, with Columbus drop-outs), head set and Campag bottom bracket. Cable routing through top tube. Only ridden once since powder-coated, (red with white panels) and has been sitting in my garage for the past three years, as it is too tall for me.
PM me if you want some pics and any more details. £150 posted.

Lots of life left in the rims. Record quality hubs. I bought these a 2/3 years ago, hoping to find the matching other wheel(s) to make two sets, but never found them and have now bought a set of handbuilts. Donation to forum if they sell through here.
Any questions - let me know.

Hi,
I have a steel (Columbus SL tubing) Pinarello Treviso for sale.
seat tube 61 ct,
Top tube 58cm,
Horizontal (Campagnolo droputs).Selling frame, fork, threaded headset and bottom bracket for £170 posted.
I bought a stripped Pinarello frame with chrome forks, here, last Autumn.
I sent it off to be powder coated (red). I then masked off and sprayed a white panel to the seat and down tube, myself. To be honest, not the neatest paint job. It looks fine from 2m away, but lack of precision becomes clearer on closer inspection (edges not crisp, some bumps and slight discolouration in the paint). I've applied Pinarello decals, which have been clear-coated over. The head badge decal has smudged slightly, when I applied the clear coat over it.The frame is in good condition, freshly powder-coated, but the detailing, which I applied, is less than perfect. Always difficult to do justice to the condition, but I don't wish to 'over-sell' the frame and someone be disappointed. Includes Chorus bottom bracket and painted (doesn't look too bad, actually) threaded head set.
From my research of old Pinarello catalogues it seems to be a Treviso, with a chromed DS chain stay and forks.
Looking for £170 posted in UK. Any further info/ questions/ pics needed, fire away.
Regards,
David

Thanks, shootthebreeze.
I was once told by an experienced (high end) bike dealer - if you want a bike to last, look at what the pros use in the Classics - frames a dnwheels built to last jumping kerbs at 40mph,, cobbles, crashes etc - Merckx and Colnago (among others) are two of those builders who avoid the superlight approach and ensure strength and quality primarily. The ride is wonderful - solid, stiff and re-assuring, as befits a bike made to deal with Belgian cobbles and short, steep climbs in the lashing rain - confidence inspiring.David

It is a real Pinarello. I bought it off here as a stripped frame and fork. I had it powder-coated (£40 ish, from memory) and rattle-canned the white panels, rather than 'properly painted'.
Paint works fine from a couple of feet away, not so good close up. The powder coating is quite thick, so obscures some of the finer details. Happy to provide more pics.
