Yeah, but I was only going from a maximum of 60kph to a full stop, not very challenging conditions. I've been trying to figure out where would be a safe place to test them at high speed, probably on a highway exit. The Brisbane Entertainment Centre has an excellent and very quiet off ramp, will probably go there on Friday and do a few highway loops.

You lot have got me paranoid about my brakes now. I've been doing some testing today, applying more pressure, all the way to the floor, etc, jury's still out. Maybe it's just me or it could be that my D-Max's brakes are so amazing that a 25 year old car can't compete.
Anyway, I'm off on Friday so will bed them in again and put them through their paces on some winding mountain rides, what could possibly go wrong, eh? Thanks, @NurseHolliday! BTW Did you get the part in the Commodore?

I bought a new belt last year, I got the wrong size and it was a bit small, I was using the last hole. Anyway, today I went to tighten my belt and found that I've run out of holes, I need to make a new one. I've dropped four inches on my waistline, crazy.
Weight loss is still plateaued, went down to 94.5kgs and I've been hovering around 95-96kgs for what feels like forever. When will I break through?? Upped my exercise and eating the same stuff, maybe slightly less fat, but no movement.

It's definitely a money gun problem, eh? Funnily enough my BBSs are in the air and on the way to me, they will need tyres this time next week! 💸
You and @mcmyk have nailed it, refreshed rotors, pads and lines is probably the answer and will hopefully fix everything. If that doesn't work then I obvs need huuuuuge Brembos (and bigger rims to accommodate them) so I can take the dog to his favourite walkies spot safely and in the utmost comfort.

I have and I almost put my foot through the floor!
@mcmyk This is good to know, fluid was changed but I'll change pads and rotors as well.

& @JAH-tim. Cool, I'm sure mine will be janky AF compared to your ones. Fingers crossed it isn't just a paperweight, just over a tenner posted (including titanium bolt!) so no great loss if it's total garbage.

Finally installed these little things, the folding handlebar nipple catcher thing came with two bolts. I obvs used the black stealth countersunk job whose head sheared off the moment I put the slightest bit of torque on it. No problem, I used the silver one instead, I've got a black marker that can take care of that problem.
Springy hinge things are an upgrade from what I had on there before, they didn't have springs. Total overkill, but that's okay. Flash suspension block (like @JAHtim and @inchpincher) next, methinks. I've wanted one for such a long time but does it even come in black?!?

Today kinda got blown out. I went back through my numbers and I have been overdoing the calories, carbs have been good up to today. Too much cheese!
I started eating low-carb bread a few weeks ago which has been a really refreshing change but it has upped my carb numbers from way below what they should be to my daily limit. It's just so easy to eat bread, had got used to not having it at all.
On the plus side I walked 16.5k steps today, a new record.
