Fallen a bit in love with some DA chainrings I've seen, particularly the black ones. Sorry to be a n00b, but can you get anything like this as a single chainring with around 46 teeth? This is 54 teeth and looks like it would be used with a smaller second chainring (assume 42 from the markings). I've only really seen these on TT bikes, so I'm not sure if there's anything like it for the track?

Currently running some MKS MT LUX peddles with MKS leather clips and a single strap.

Want to look into double straps, but I don't think those peddles will accept them.

Can anyone recommend a good combination of peddles, clips and double straps? Preferable around the £75 mark all in.

most of my chainrings are alu.
It's heat-treated and hardened but it stills wears quicker than steel rings.
It's not like you swap them every ride.

Whilst no physics expert, a tight as possible chain means extra friction. Extra friction means wasted energy.

In Mosquito Bikes the other day I saw a Pegoretti which had a conical cover/plug screwed into the rear brake hole. Not only did it look cool, but something like that would be pretty practical in stopping crap and rust getting in there.

Anyone know if/where you can buy something similar?
