I should have explained better. I have a GXP file saved on my computer and want to import it into Garmin Connect so I can edit it and add it to my device.

Is there a way to import a route on Garmin Connect to be able to edit it?

I'm trying to get previous rides recorded on a 1000, on to Strava. This is fine going forward as it says they'll be automatically synced but can't find an option for rides recorded pre linking with Strava. Is it possible?

I tried uploading directly using the Garmin Communicator Plug-in, but noticed that once they've been uploaded to Garmin connect, they disappear from the device..

EDIT: I think I've done it but seems a bit backwards. Export original from Garmin connect >> drag activity back on to device >> use plug in to manually upload to Strava.

So I guess my question is, is there an option to stop activities automatically deleting from the device?
