A bit more than you were looking to pay but for a proper expedition bike, Thorn Sherpa, 375 - brilliant price. A bit shorter too but has the long top bar so if you're short-ish of leg and long of body for your height it might work Was interested myself but still have two bikes to sell and I just can't justify it + is pick up in Brighton and work's being difficult. Spoke to the guy, Chris - seemed very sound.

This is a Genesis Equilibrium 2010, 58cm for sale as a complete bike only @ £580. -pedals, sorry [edited 12:32]

I bought it in May 2010, and used it for occasional rides out of North London, went touring that summer on another bike, used it for London - Brighton in September, then built a fixie and, in October 2010, put the bike in the attic under a dust sheet where it's been ever since. So less than 200 miles, probably closer to 150.
For me then, a complete waste of money (cost £999) that I'm happy for someone to take advantage of at £580 as in 6 weeks I quit work and am off touring for 6 months or so.
It is as new except for:
The saddle I used on my fixie for 6 months, it's back on the Genesis now but does show some signs of marks, though no scuffs or rips.
My postcode is police-etched onto the bottom of the downtube (and re-lacquered over) - I'll provide a letter, if you're fussed, explaining I've sold it to you.
A couple of very small, cosmetic scratches to the lacquer only one of the front carbon forks can't remember which and I'm not going to go into the attic to find out.
Located in Finsbury Park.
Dibs followed by pm please, I will of course make a contribution to LFGSS.com

Price Drop - now 200 pounds
Am leaving the UK in 2 months so sadly selling this very-happy-to-ride 1979 Carlton conversion. Not desperate but unfortunately don't have the time to split parts and sell individually - I will only sell this whole.
Wheels are V-sprint, ordered brand new via this site last August, as indicated below, have had 6 months use, 112 quid originally and are still perfectly true if a little muddy in places. Tyres are Panaracer Paselas 32mm - a little odd but the most comfortable thing for a gent over Haringey roads and still fastish.
Frame was bought from Hilary Stone for 80 quid, has paint scratches, I've put reflective stickers on it but it has no dings and rides super smoothly and softly.
All components are new or newish (ie a year old) except bars (nothing special and scratched anyway) and the front chainring (slightly buckled but makes no noise and has no effect whatsoever - I have a spare crankset I would give anyway as have no need for spare fixie parts).
Setup: 52 front x 20 rear fixed only but you could screw a free bit on the other side obviously, have an 18 tooth cog I would be happy to throw in.
Note: in the photo is a white saddle - that's no longer on there - it belongs to a Genesis Equilibrium I'm trying to sell too, if anyone's interested in that? - in its place, it's got a greyish Specialised Alias one with titanium rails, an improvement anyway.
Ummm, think that's it. I would like 220 ono for it - dropped 16/6 now £200. Whole, no splitting, I'm afraid. Am based North London but work near Kings X
There a couple of tools I'm happy to give to buyer eg cog removal tool and a few other bits I can't remember...Dibs followed by pm, I'll be giving a fiver to lfgss.com after sale.
Seat Tube (ctt): 57cm (22.5in)
Top Tube (ctc): 57cm (22.5in)
Frame tubing: Reynolds 531
V-sprint wheels=21mm Mach1 rims, silver Quando hubs, black spokes -

Seat Tube (ctt): 57cm (22.5in)
Top Tube (ctc): 57cm (22.5in)
Reynolds 531
V-sprint wheels=21mm Mach1 rims, silver Quando hubs, black spokes=£112 (1 year ago and still perfectly true...)There are a few differences from the photo eg a Ti saddle, stem with a little less reach so ride is better etc but if you're interested and could reach a bit over 200, I'd be keen.
Would also give away some extra bits eg spare crankset, cogs etc. Anyway, pm if you're interested.

Reasonable offers on remaining items now accepted, thanks.
All pictures are at bottom of this page, sorry can't work out how to embed them.
10:45 of 9/10/11 - pending payment, Langster wheels are sold.
A clearout of bits and pieces...
Please note though, because of hours I can't make it to post so won't and would prefer pick-up from the school where I work in Somers Town, halfway between Kings X St Pancras and Mornington Crescent though might be able to meet in vicinity.First sale I've done on here so if any prices offend for being off the mark please politely suggest a realistic alternative. I will, of course, donate to the forum which has done very good things to me.

1) 1" Quill stem, does the job but includes scratches and pitting. 4 pounds.2) Profile Design Quill Converter 1" to 1 1/8" threadless - absolutely unused/unfitted, changed plans on a project, cost 13, selling for 8 pounds.
3) Tektro mini V-Brakes inc pads - fitted but used only 2 days, 10 pounds.
4) Shimano front derailleur 31.8 clamp, ok state, 5 pounds.
5) Unbranded Travel Agent to make V brakes compatible with road levers, couple of scratches but works well, 8 pounds.
6) Shimano Deore V Brakes inc pads - fitted but never used, 13 pounds.
7) Shimano PD-M505 SPD Pedals - never used or fitted, 13 pounds.
The Langster wheels I bought here back at end of April/early May and the original text read:
"Langster 700c wheelset 32H. Used for a year on and off. Hubs still very smooth and in excellent condition. De-stickered rims are chrome/mirrored finish and have light marks and quite a few scratches on them. Black spokes. Includes freewheel, fixed sprocket, lockring, tyres and tubes ready to roll. Rear is perfectly true, the front is slightly out but not by much! Brakes have been used on both wheels "
Not much has really changed since then, I probably did about 100 miles max though I did cross thread the fixed side thread slightly when in a hurry one day to change cogs but with a careful hand the lockring tightens fine. I bought them for 90quid (thread= http://www.lfgss.com/post2120130-1.html ) and would like 75. 16 teeth cogs included on both fixed & free sides. SOLD
And finally a rather simple classic that could do with a polish - 1 rear Mavic MA2 black anodised rim on a Shimano RX100 hub (36 silver spokes). I got this about 2 years ago from a bloke selling in Kent but have only used the front wheel which, as these are as strong as anything, was perfect for touring. It's got a 7 speed hub/cassette on it. All looks pretty good and certainly seems to run smooth and fairly true though as I say I've not actually ridden on it. You would want to dump the tyre as that died years ago. SOLD

You could have this for £20?
Nothing fancy but it's almost brand new - used for 40miles maybe? Smeared in oil here and there to make it look less shiny and nickable - but as long as you're fairly sure, could meet St Pancras and you can decide.
