32h Bitex RAF12 to a 26" rim - problems?
Very much a newbie so any advice, much appreciated. I wanted to build a lightweight 26" wheelset and starting with a Bitex RAF12 found cheap online. Now wondering if this will work: the 16holes on that narrow diameter flange look crowded.
Spokepro's calculator says "spokehead clearance" of 0.1mm (with 3cross). Is that do-able? 2cross comes out as 1.9mm clearance - a better choice? Will it make a much weaker wheel? Thanks.

26" 32h touring wheelset with Schwalbe Kojaks £65Sold
Great condition, 26" 559 rim brake wheels, handbuilt by Mark Pollard of Spokesman Wheels. Silver Zac Rigida 2000 rims with DB spokes to Deore LX hubs, 32h front and back which is 135oln. I bought off the CTC site about 16 months ago, didn't use the rear at all and maybe only 400miles on the front. One of the tyres has a bit more wear than the other.2
Decent but tired 26" 36h touring wheelset £FreeTaken
Silver Sun CR 18 rims on Shimano LX M570 hubs, 36h front and back. Rims are dying (especially rear, front maybe has a bit left). Rear bearings need replacing and are too tight as they are. In spite all that, such a solid wheelset might go to supermarket and back for a while yet and with new rims/bearings on rear, ready to go heavy touring somewhere nice. Happy to de-rim spokes and hubs if easier to pick up.3
