Should new hubs always be 'buttery' smooth? Do they loosen a little when run in?
Reason I'm asking - I've just bought an XT hub (sold as 'new without packaging' on ebay from a guy who seems chilled) and it's immaculate, clearly never been built up nor had cassette anywhere near it. But I'd expect it to be a little smoother and looser i.e. it feels just a little tight and very, very slightly notchy, and the freehub just a little resistant. As my experience with new hubs is nil, just wondering if this is normal? Thanks.

Now sold, thanks
All stuff bought new in 2004 when I lived near mountains and unused since 2005. Appreciate this isn't the ideal place to sell but will give it a try and then move to ebay in a month or so. Also, any suggestions gratefully received: I'm so long out of the ski-ing thing that I have very little clue about prices and/or where to sell etc - thanks.
Could post crampons, for other stuff, collection from E9, thanks.

I'd like to sell the skis, skins and poles as a bundle but not sure how to price so reasonable offers welcome.Thanks.

The SQLab saddle is broken - the plastic moulding underneath, not the rails, not really useable but might be good for something. Was really comfy saddle and pricey, shame about quality of plastic
I've ended up using the ground anchor.
Lezyne Mini Drive XL** Bought 10 years ago and used for a couple of years. I thought the batteries (there's 2) had degraded massively but just tried them both again now and they each give at least some light for 2 hours so maybe good for someone? Mounts for Oversize + standard bars and helmet.
Gas cartridges and tool - these came in a big of joy. No idea about them - think 1 tool works and all but 1 of the cartridges have something in.

Hi @carlito
For £35, I bought this on here as a slim lightweight saddle (127mm, Ti rails, 181grams) for my narrow behind. In the end, it was a bit too narrow. Might work? £30?

Hi @schmittin - I was going to get these from @Glws but happy to defer to you as 1st in line - if you still want, could you let me know? Ta!
