can recommend, although getting the front rollers on and off can be tricky when the bags are full. but it's rated for 20kg in total, that's why i got it and i can confirm it's quite sturdy even off the tarmac.they add all the hardware you need, even if you want to mount it on the front axle

...epic thread! well envious of your plans. thinking of quitting my job for a while and doing something similar.
i'm stuck in turkey because of work, for probably the rest of the year and i'd happily host you if you come by. (i'm living quite literally on your route). I also have friends/family in Istanbul, let me know.
Bike looks sick btw, was looking into the Surly World Troller with S&S couplers the other day, which would be the perfect touring machine for having to take flights if plans change or things don't work out.
