VO tall stack stem, in black - this one . Allows you to dispense with spacers for a clean look. Nice quality, just turned out to be a bit too tall for my steerer. Brand new in packaging; never fitted (just held alongside to check height). £SOLD

Avid BB5 brakes f + r, with pads. Work perfectly. Used for 1000 miles, if that. One domed allen bolt for fitting to mount is missing as it had burred over and had to be hacked about with, but will supply standard M6 bolt in its place. £SOLD

No-name front disk hub in red, built but never ridden. Came as standard on my Salsa Vaya, and I swapped it out for a dynamo hub. Suspect it's nothing fancy but perfectly decent. £10

Schwalbe Marathon Dureme Evo folding tyres, pair, 700 x 40. Used very lightly for a couple of hundred miles and hard to tell at all. Tough as hell. £SOLD

I'm looking for a Nitto M18 front rack. Possibly a Surly 8 pack, although it's not quite as neat. I need to attach to mid-fork blade braze ons, so either of those would work. In Newcastle so would need to be posted. Unless you're also in Newcastle.

Looking for a Nitto M18 front rack. I have a Nitto campee of some designation I can't remember, which is v nice but only useable with p clips, which is no good with my new fork, so want this one to attach to mid-fork blade braze ons. I've recently bought a mountain bike and have been told in no uncertain terms that another bike must go, so I'm selling my utility / camping build, which I love but have barely used so have accepted that the game's up.

It's based around an S&G Muddy Fox Explorer vintage steel MTB frame - one of the earliest MTBs of all and THE earliest Muddy Fox, before the company was even called Muddy Fox. Its geometry is nice and relaxed but not too crazy like the early Dawes Ranger. I'd say it's very similar to a Surly LHT.

I found the frame after a lot of searching and posting of wanted ads as I was obsessed with finding a steel MTB with three-piece (as opposed to unicrown) forks... which I think are pretty fine. The frame was in a pretty bad way so I renovated it, had a couple of bits repaired and some braze-ons added, had it powder-coated then built it up with a mixture of new parts and parts from my previous build. You can read about it here (LFGSS) if you like.

Some specs:

• Top tube 57.5cm CTC; seat tube CTC 48cm / CTT 51cm. I'm 5'9 if it helps, and given the relatively long TT it could fit someone taller if paired with a longer stem.

• VO Tourist bars with VO cork grips (the grips will be new as I've taken a chunk out of one of the existing ones and haven't got round to replacing it til now)
  
• Shimano levers with Tektro CR720 cantis
  
• Front Shimano dynamo hub laced to Ryde 2000 rim. Nothing special but tough and true.
  
• Rear Shimano Alfine 8 hub laced to Rigida Sputnik rim. The rim is virtually new, with only 50 miles on it. Built up by Andy Panks at AP Cycles / Specialised Cycles, Norwich.
  
• Surly Singleator
  
• Schwalbe Marathon Mondial tyres, 559 x 50mm
  
• Sugino RD2 170mm crankset with Gebhardt 39T chainring

• Tortec rear rack (n.b. a new silver one, not the black one in the pic)

N.B. doesn't come with front rack, as I'm transferring that to another bike.

The bike has barely been used, with only 200 miles on it (except the rear rim which is newer). Some parts have been around longer - the Alfine hub was second-hand, for instance.

I think it'd also look good with drops and minus the mudguards and rack. Either way it's pretty versatile - you could keep as is or tweak very easily.

I'd like £400. I'm in Newcastle upon Tyne, but I can post at cost if necessary.

I bought this in small and medium and am keeping the medium. Its brand new, never worn. A really great jacket. I bought it from Always Riding for £48 + post two days ago. I can return it if no-one's interested but figured someone might be. Will sell for £45 posted to mainland UK.

I'm after some not-thrashed, not-too-old Salsa Cowbell bars. I'm not fussed if they're Cowbell 2 or 3. Would prefer 44cm width but would be good to know about anything that might be out there. With 31.8 clamp area. Ta!
