When I last bought descaler for a Gaggia classic I was directed toward lactic rather than tartaric acid. Not sure where that advice came from, but I ended up with a load of this stuff https://www.descaler.co.uk/eccellente-lactic-descaler-500ml/

Similar fork crown and Prugnat lugs to mine which was built in 1961 and would probably have been branded JRJ

I'm guessing yours is early '60's too, the track ends look quite old fashioned compared to the campag ones on mine so it's either a more traditional customer or an older frame

It rode really well and the paintwork on yours is pretty nice, I used mine as an everyday bike for about 5 years and a load of fun it was too

The devil makes work for idle hands tho - I'm thinking that if I'm going flatmount, 12mm thru with through frame routing on the frame it doesn't really make sense to go with external cable routing, 9mm QR and post mount on the forks ...
I'm just at the sanding and priming stage on these and will flog the Genesis ones and buy the hope front axle adaptors

It's a good point, and I'm not suggesting for a second that it's on the schools or the kids themselves to deal with this, more just a sad reflection of how far we still have to go.
Contrasting it with my experience at a state comp in the 80s -90s back when the progressive liberal agenda was widely accepted, political correctness was still considered to be a vehicle for social justice and all the teachers were card carrying lefties
You got expelled for saying something racist and ostracised by your peers for holding right wing views.Assuming that generation of kids are now accepting, enabling or propagating the shite views my kids face I'm wondering whether those attitudes were there all along but not voiced for reasons of self preservation, image management or good manners...
which brings us neatly back to:
think what you like; but don't say it out loud, in case you get caught

better training on how to use social media...
Indeed, I found this a bit baffling, surely the effort should go into coaching young white men not to be racist/sexist twerps.
Having said that, I suspect this may be quite a massive task... My kids attended a majority white suburban secondary and witnessed a culture of white teenage boys identifing as an increasingly marginalised and oppressed minority needing to fight the liberal tide of race and gender values that threatens their birthright as proud english men...Early on I found this shocking especially when the level of privilege is so great they should be wringing their hands with embarassment rather than whinging about a percieved loss of their god given right to be a sexist/racist twat.
Now it just seems like a depressing normality, especially when public servants like Dowden & Johnson encourage this bizarre behaviour... -

I had some correspondence with a guy called Wei at Pursuitbicycle about doing a custom version of the Tsunami gravel biek https://www.abeyabicycle.com/gravel-frame.html
During the correspondence he used email addresses from Seaboard, Abeya, and Pursuit.
Price on a custom geo bare 4130 frame was $360 + shipping there were quite a few limitations/design rules so I ended up going with Marino instead.
Communications were good and he seemed like a decent guy
I think Abeya China Trading Company is the umbrella company for all these brand names.
