I wasn't sure if you were OK with people taking parts for a build as it seemed like i would be taking away useful bits that could be used to make bikes for those more in need of a cheap transport solution

• heating it up, then let it cool and try again
  
• or put the post in a vice and use the frame as leverage
  
  

Last resort is to cut it off just above the seat clamp and use a hacksaw blade down the hole. When you've cut through lengthways roll it up using some big grippers and pull it out

Nice! I had one of theose SR chainsets. Nightmare if you ever need to replace the outer chainring, but looks like your running it on the smaller ring anyway

Norwich at the moment and come September will either be staying here or moving to Cambridge. If I do go to Cambridge I'll sort of be earning a salary, not just living off a student loan, so might be able to build another bike for polo, if I have the time/inclination to play that is
