It's worse than I thought. Bought a new axle and got it rolling but the spoke tension is all wrong and the rim just flexes and binds up in the frame straight away. Haven't really got the time or inclination to get it sorted so I'm out this week. Sorry

As long as I can get my bike repaired. Think it's just a stripped nut but if it turns out to be the axle as well I'll do my best to get a replacement in time.

Found a similar place near me that had an almost pristine 70s Dawes frame with horizontal dropouts for £15. Using it fixed for polo

There seems to be plenty of silver ones out there but I'd prefer black to suit the rest of the bike. However, black ones seem to be more expensive (maybe because of the extra work involved in painting it) hence my looking for a second hand one.

My current outer chainring has flexed with use and lost big patches of the finish. Looks a state so I'm after a replacement.
