A bunch of very shiny parts that I've cleaned up thoroughly for various builds but now won't use.
Will all need posting.
All prices are plus post as I'll need to weigh, measure and check as I'm less up to speed on the new Royal Mail pricing now it's based on size and weight.
Prefer to send recorded if over £10.00.
Payment by Paypal gift preferred or add the 3.4%.
Please follow up any dibs with a pm.Photos after descriptions. Many thanks, Daniel.

Enough for front and rear. Inners have barrel ends, but could be switched. New and unused. Currently has plastic ferrules, would look better replaced with metal and be a nice period correct addition to an old path machine or roadster!Photos below. Happy to do individual ones if needed. Didn't have time as it was getting dark. (Excuse my leg in the second last photo!)

Durax Cottered Crankset
£75 + post - unfortunately it will be £8.25 to send recorded and insured (Paypal gift preferred or add fees)EDIT >>> PRICE DROP - £66 + recorded post. Final try >>> £60 + post
Also added in things I'm looking for below to swap / part exchange.http://www.classiclightweights.co.uk/components/durax-comp.html
Always thought these were the most beautiful of the cottered cranks. I am guessing this is probably late 40s or an early 50s version. They get uglier and less slender later! And I think the earlier models are marked 'DURAX COURSE', but could be wrong.
170mm
French threaded, I was going to retap but figure it's better to leave that up to anyone interested.
Perfect chrome. Have been rechromed but very good job. The lovely 'bayonet' flutes on the edges of the arms have not lost any definition and the 'DURAX' engraved logos are still clear. Beautifully slender and very lightweight.
I do have a chainring I can include free of charge but it needs rechromed. Otherwise, Hilary Stone has a selection of suitable rings. Will add photo of ring once I dig it out.

One of the more unusual, super short ones - 70mm c-to-c
For 26.4mm clamp. 22.2mm steerer.Incorrect pinch bolt. I've replaced with a brand new domed allen key bolt and nut, with a washer either side. Chromed steel. From custom fasteners - Pretty handy place if anyone is interested!
There's a scrape on top, otherwise generally pretty decent. Photos below. -

Any chance of some more photos...
Pedal threads and area around, tapers. BB Cup bearing surfaces and axle bearing surfaces. And particularly drive side crank arm meeting spider. Prone to cracks there. Can be filed out sometimes to stop them propagating but not always.
I'm only tentatively interested so if too much hassle no bother. I reckon photos of the above would enhance your chance of a sale though.
Many thanks indeed.
ps. Is the Williams ring an 1/8th inch?

Thanks for that. Stupid on my part... I'd so much been expecting a cone that I was blinded by my preconceptions!
Managed to tap the axle out. My wife had actually said with a skant glance much earlier yesterday evening... "can't you just push that out". I really need to listen more!
Still need to try to pop the bearings out which looks trickier. Needle bearings at the crank end and roller bearings in cage as can be seen in the photos.

I have two such cones. One sadly with some pits, the other (an old Airlite I think) is dirty but seemingly okay along the bearing track. Can't tell from your photo if it's better than yours or not. Happy to post you it if wanted? There're are a lot of cones like this though for 1950s hubs, so I'd get digital calipers and measure it up as best you can. Otherwise, give Abel Baker Cycles a call and tell them what you need. And make it a Saturday as I think that's the only day the guy who deals with the old stuff is in! They reproduce cones and parts for a lot of old hubs. I got Airlite ones there. Quality is pretty decent but can take a while to arrive. My address got lost once and he wrote it down completely incorrectly the second time. It is pleasantly old school though...they invoice for payment which is nicely trusting, and the chap is good for a chat about old parts.

Trying to adjust some old TA Road Pedals. The good news is I have got the notoriously stubborn dust caps off! Once inside, the first nut and washer comes off okay too, but the cone is fully round with no flats. I can't see any trick I'm missing, and it's too tight to do anything delicately with pliers. Am I totally missing something?
Any knowledge of these pedals or ideas very much appreciated. Stuck some photos up below to show what I mean about the cones.
Cheers!

Yep... they're lovely hubs. I'm lucky enough to have a set with perfect chrome!
I'm sure some folks will disagree, but you can have these rechromed...
I've spoken to a couple of people that have done this with these hubs and also Airlite hubs. You need to separate the flanges from the central barrels by tapping them out. I had Mick at Madgetts offer to do this for me, but I didn't need to bother in the end. The chroming would be cheap, under £20. You do need to be sure you have them rechromed by someone who is used to bicycle parts - so they don't alter the diameter of the barrel too much by over polishing in the prepping. I've had a stem steerer diameter suffer this fate and be too small to tighten in the fork properly. In terms of repressing the flanges, I was worried about them spinning or turning, but was assured that spoke tensions when built would mean no chance of this happening.
Having said all that, seems troublesome! I'd just use them as is, or wait for a better set if they need to be perfect!

1950s Campagnolo Gran Sport Hubs
£70 + £6.75 Recorded Postage (Medium Parcel)*** FINAL PRICE DROP: £60 + £6.75 1st Class Recorded Postage***
Donation to forum from sale.- Early hubs made by Fratelli Brivio (FB) for Campagnolo
- Alloy High Flanges with Circular Cutouts
- Chromed steel barrels with winged Campagnolo logo.
- British thread for freewheel
- Rear currently spaced at 126mm, but I can switch axle and spacers and set to 120mm if preferred.
- Flanges are very nice, polished and shinier looking than in photos, but plenty of patches of chrome loss on barrels.
Just rebuilt with new Grade 10 chrome steel bearings, and used Campagnolo cones, axles, locknuts etc.
Hub bearing surfaces are very good, just some cosmetic staining, no pitting.
Rear cones are excellent, rear hub very smooth. Left a tiny bit of play that is taken out under pressure of tightened QR.
Front hub cones are a tiny bit rough, no pitting, just not as perfectly smooth so wish to point it out. Could be replaced. Abel Baker Cycles sells correct repro cones for these hubs, or Campag Nuovo Tipo cones also work.Lots of photos below. Any questions just ask.
