Buy it now and wait a couple of years til old timer mtb's get hip again in Dalston then dust it off and you'll be one step ahead - you heard it here first.

Cheap (at least for a Roberts) 57cm Chas Roberts with campag - Gumtree so hopefully not dodgy...

Hopefully this will go in the right thread!
I used to have a lovely fillet brazed Tom Bromwich 531 mountain bike and would love something similar for the road,
The only thing is I need quite a short top tube for my T-rex type build, (I'm currently riding a 21.5" tt c-to-c) with a 22" seat tube
I could probs go up to 22.5" top tube and probably a maximum of a 23" seat.
Apart from that I'm open to pretty much anything in steel! mudguard/rack eyelets are a plus though..
A possibly trade would be my Andy Powell/Overbury's tourer.
Thanks!

Act quickly if you like it, numerous ways to unstick a post, look it up on sheldon brown (RIP) ...

It's a very very decent bike for people who like that kinda stuff.
Agree, prefer steel though, this one's rather special imho: http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/DE-ROSA-ENDURACE-vintage-italian-road-bike-SHIMANO-DURA-ACE-/221502261387?pt=US_Bicycles_Frames&hash=item339290488b

Bloody hell that's nice! Funny I've seen a few Thorn bikes and they've mostly been of the fugly/functional variety imho but the last two I've seen have been stunners, I'd definitely go for the Cyclosportif if someone would only sponsor my bike habit
